The Footladder: Healing
In scripture the Lord speaks of essentials required of Him to overcome the sufferings of our human condition. The first element is to know one’s true spirit identity, and thereby who you are not. Jesus challenges us – “Is it not written in your Law I have said you are gods?” John 10:34. And in a variation of this statement, but still supporting one’s true spirit identity, Jesus states – “And do not call anyone on earth Father for you have only one Father and He is in heaven”, Matt 23:9. With such knowledge in place, faith in God’s healing power is next. Jesus states, “take heart… your faith has healed you”, Matt 9:23. But faith itself must be based on what qualities we believe God to Possess. Loving? Vengeful? Forgiving? Understanding? Again Jesus addresses the issue – “Be merciful just as your Father is merciful”, Luke 6:36. Jesus adds another reassurance of how God loves us – “I have made you known to them… that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them…”, John 17:26. God further expands on these issues as well as the healing process itself in His Footladder of Notes Divine. 12 Wouldst thee know Me wouldst thee have Me wouldst thee claim Me as they own thy peace thy calm are yours from Me I am thy quest thy home [excerpt]
