The Footladder: Angels
Throughout Scripture, from Abraham (Genesis 22:11-19) and Mary (Luke 1:26-38), angels bring good news to those whom they visit. Likewise with Jesus, after being tempted in the wilderness it is mentioned that after the devil left Him, “Angels appeared and looked after Him”, Matt 4:11. Again, it is mentioned in Luke 22:43 when Jesus is undergoing the great stress of preparing for His arrest, an angel appears to bring strength to Him. Likewise in the Footladder of Notes Divine, God confirms the existence of angels, their visitations, and their precious messages for mankind. But, in addition, in the Footladder mention is made of their other powers of peace and healing as well. 37 Angels bring intrepid word to all who mill about who sing of thee gratuitously who bring the sound to earth around of holy peace declared.
