Healing
1. What is healing?
We see in scripture different levels of healing. People with
illnesses get healed; "mental illness" gets healed, etc... But we
see demonstrations of the greater healing as well, life changing
healings. Mary, Jesus, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Paul, and
the disciples undergo the rising of the Holy Spirit, or the
Pentecost experience by which the Spirit dimension becomes available
once again, their human mind has been countered by their divinity
and they are made ready for their unfolding ministry.
Healing is a process, a path initiated by
our own wish for help. We recognize that we have no answers, just
like Jesus said of Himself, and must depend on the Divine Source to
bring us out of the lost human state, with all its attendant fears,
guilt and loss, a sense of poor personal value. From that moment,
the process of healing, by which we recover that awareness of our
God-being identity is in the hands of God to conduct, and through
that which we go through, we become the supportive vehicle for
others who will be assisted by us to undergo their path.
2. Why is healing necessary?
God wants His children to have the joy and fulfillment of His life
within them. Any deviation away from God's gift to us lowers us into
a lesser state. We feel guilt over causing the loss of awareness of
God's presence and relationship with us, feel fearful of what we
feel is a wrong upon God our Creator which can be met with possible
punishment according to the way the human mind thinks, and thus
causes a lost human life for which we have no God-based knowledge of
how to solve. Through the Holy Spirit, God provides that path, known
to the Spirit, Who is capable of negotiating the madness of the
human mind and the recovery of the Divine mind within us.
3. How do we know we need a healing?
The misery of the human state is ever-present despite our
manipulations to overcome its loneliness and desperation. It compels
a seeking, first by trying to solve matters ourselves; and finally
the grim yet potentially joyful awareness that we can't do it., and
the immediate awareness of Presence stepping in and affirming our
hope.
4. Who heals?
People pray to Jesus, Mary, The Father, Holy Spirit, the angels,
saints and personal spirit guides, etc... All of it represents the
essential condition by which healing can begin. We've stopped
believing in our human mind's ability to come up with answers.
That's all that is needed to give God permission to surface with you
and for you to commence the healing process. I notice with myself my
shifting and/or including various personages and Holy Spirit. With
whomever I'm comfortable at that moment is to whom I pray, including
multiples. It all leads to God our Creator, and is convenient for
human dimensional receptivity to God's healing.
5. Is healing a miracle?
Miracle means different things to people who use that word. Maybe we
use the word to describe or define something beyond our
understanding. A Course in Miracles uses the term to describe that
awareness we receive when we desire a holy intervention. We initiate
the appearance of that "miracle" simply by wishing to recover the
availability of it within ourselves. It's right there.
6. Why does God not heal us of all our hurts at once?
You mentioned how there are things of this world which bring you
great joy and you hope they in some way continue to exist in the
heavenly dimension. What would you feel if God took away from you
something on this human plane which you still were invested in, not
ready to surrender, and God barged in and took it from you without
your permission? Invaded? Helpless? Frightened of His power? Fearful
of His domination overruling you?, and reducing your nature which
you still want to retain? Indeed, it would be a tyrannical scary
God. So God slowly heals or helps us with the areas that we have
been made ready to surrender, increment by increment.
7. Why are we so broken that we need healing?
We made our own creation (this world) in order to be an original
creator ourselves, and as part of that process, we lost the
understanding of how to return to our Creator and His dimension
created for us. Since the elements of fear and guilt are the key
elements of our own creation we are profoundly broken and require
God's intervention to reestablish contact with Him.
8. What happened to us to put us in this broken state?
We cannot remember our wish to create this world, but you see how
guilt dominates even the religions that we established. If God says
to you, after creating you to enjoy His love of you, - "Look you can
have everything that I have, except I'm the original Creator, you're
not that."... Or "you can have everything in the Garden except this
one "apple tree", that's Mine alone ... can you see wanting it all?
Can you see why Adam and Eve hid when they heard God come on the
scene? When you think about it, God knew that this would happen,
because His creations lacked the original-creator element that
belonged to Him alone. And He would know that we'd there for play
the game entitled, "BE an original creator." But we didn't know that
of His to our games; He would have giggled and asked us did we make
something better than Him? And that would have been the end of it.
9. Why is there not more information available to us regarding
healing?
This is as far as the world has gotten at this point in time, in
receiving the process of healing, and development of God's healers.
The human mind opposes such information and the Holy Spirit must
work gently with us, or else destabilize our sense of self by too
rapidly undermining it.
10. Are there people in this world who are healers?
Yes, but not of themselves. They are in the process of receiving
healing from God, and in turn God puts people in their paths that
are ready to receive that healing from them, in order to continue
the process.
11. How are they different from us?
They're not. They just have gotten to the point of throwing the
sponge in on their human mind, so they are a couple of steps ahead
of us on the healing path that all of us are traversing.
12. Why are they needed?
Because God heals us within the human dimension and needs people who
contribute their minds and lives to Him as vehicles for transmission
of His communications and actions.
13. Where can I find them?
God arranges the meetings between those who possess the healings
needed and the person seeking it.
14. Is healing the flesh the same as healing the spirit?
All problems are at the spirit level, and the body is simply a
receiver of and the expression of the mind in conflict. The body
doesn't have a mind of its own; it simply reflects the mind's
contents.
15. How do you know which type of healing to get?
It depends upon the level of understanding that we have about
healing. In the human state we seek out a flesh healing for what we
believe to be a flesh problem. As we become aware of the conflicts
and sick states caused by the human mind, such understanding compels
a search for healing of the mind, which in turn brings healing to
the mind's bodily state.
16. Are they connected? How?
All is mind. Think human, desire human, and you get human
consciousness. Think divine, desire divine, and you get divine
consciousness. In scripture, people were not even in front of Jesus,
they were at home, and still received healing. They were in a mind
that was receptive to His healing.
